The bridge deck needed to be waterproofed (400m2), the rail lines were removed
and the track ballast (stone) was removed.
The rail company only give the contractor 12 hours to waterproof the bridge
and return regardless of the weather conditions.
Stirling Lloyd Hytec System was used and the bridge was returned
back to the Rail Company in just 7 hours for the new tracks to be re-laid.
