Resin Injection
Cracks and leaks that occur in structural concrete slabs, walls, culverts and tunnels can all be repaired with resin injection. To put it simply the crack is drilled into at an angle typically 45degrees. An injection port or packer is installed and tightened and the appropriate injection resin for the application is injected at high pressure into the crack until the entire crack surface is wetted. The resin then reacts and cures forming a watertight seal in the crack.
Typical applications would be the kicker joint in lift pits, cracks in walls and construction joints where the waterbar has failed or been omitted.
